thanks man. the first thing i have to do is get a new driver side front fender(neighbor backed into it a lil while back).. but after that
performance: CAI,headers, exhuast, sct or superchips tuner.

Looks: reupholster the seats with two tone leather grey and black, i would like chrome grille inserts,.... and i would like to put the sport bumpers on i really like the look but not sure on that yet.... also feel free to give some suggestions

welcome to the forum. i just thought i might mention that you may want to crop or shrink your sig picture down a bit. the mods will usually let the width slide but if it is too tall they may remove it.

Welcome to df!

Before you do any of the performance upgrades, I would check the plenum (unless your father already dealt with it), a common failure with these trucks is for the plenum gasket to blow, which in turn causes all sorts of fun issues.

Not trying to bring you down on your purchase; in my experience these are great trucks to own. Just wanted to alert you to this fact in hopes of avoiding the "HELP! my cats clogged and it cracked my heads/fouled my plugs/ate my children/killed my dog" thread later on lol.

Grab a good flashlight, and a dentist mirror if you got one, then take the air filter off of the throttlebody, open the throttle bores and shine the light down into the intake. Insert mirror (if you have it) and look around really well for any oil pooling in there. If you cant get a good look; remove the throttlebody (4 bolts... make sure you grab a replacement TB gasket first) and do the same procedure.

If there's any oil in there, you got yourself a blown plenum or bad pcv valve. There tends to be quite a bit more oil if its a plenum though. If you're unsure, post pics here and ask the forum members.
