Not strong at all. Most often they cause more damage than they prevent when your front end encounters anything that would cause a dent.

It comes with 2 pre-drilled holes for lights, i had to drill the others. Its decently strong, I can hang on it and it doesn't budge, but I only way 195. I probably wouldn't want to strap a decent size car to the front to drag it, its easier to turn around and hook it on the trailer hitch. The guard is only held on with 4 bolts
