I honestly just did this to mine today haha. the rust ate the the rockers and a quarter way into the driver side floor. it also ate up the rocker on the passenger side. i also grinded and painted the bottom of my doors XD good luck with the rest of your project

It got new wheels and paint along with 2 more inches of lift.

Yeah I put diamond plate bed rail caps and a tool box in it. To me no truck is complete without one.
