ebay - truck parts, chainsaws, tools galore, door *****, garage door springs, tires, musical instruments, appliances, tv's, home theaters, computers. the list is endless.
One of the eBay thangies I've thought about but I'm afraid to pull the trigger: Timing gear set... As opposed to chain and sprocket/cog... There would be zero skipped timing... No worry of stretch.. no more worries.. except I haven't seen it at major parts stores and this worries me.. if the mapping was just a little off, life would suck... So, I'm going to wait until somebody here pulls the trigger on such and gives a good report first... I'm evil like that...
Gear drives are far from new lol. There more commonly seen in race motors. They tend to whine a little as well. Sound similar to small supercharger IMO lol.
E-bay is one of the best places for games too.
I got Hitman: Blood Money a while back for $10 while it was still $50 or $60 in the stores. The writing on the case is in Russian but the game itself is in English so I didn't complain.

uh, lol lol? really?
gears have been around a long time. maybe you can understand it this way: try finding a timing gearset for THESE engines anywhere but eBay. Can you kinnit?
A place here in memphis sells them. When I bought my timing set from them one of the sets they sold was gears.
I'm interested how they work.. short and long term.. if they're mapped right, I can't see why anyone would want a chain, right? The precision timing would more than offset the parasitic loss of power in my opinion..
anyway, didn't mean to hijack the thread.. whoops!! Carry on 'yall..
