I've never seen someone swap in a viper motor in a 2nd gen. I've seen a few cummins and hemis, but never a viper. Pretty neat truck, but I agree with you about it being a long bed. The lowered short beds look more sporty. I'm not a fun of those rims though. Some black nascar rims would look sweet with some fat rubber

 

The long bed will help with traction and getting down the strip in a straight line with 500+ ponies under the hood.
