You're in mine. I know how this feels, about a month ago I went through the same thing when my girlfriend had a tumor. Really rocks the word beneath your feet.

Thanks everybody. This means the world to us. Yes, it does rock the world beneath you. Makes you realize just how fragile we are and that we aren't invincible, no matter how much we think we are. Just makes you think how much we take for granted. Just an update for you guys: the tumor is believed to be "urachal carcinoma". It is attached to her bladder, in the urachal tube (which I believe is the tube connecting her belly-button to her bladder) and is
partially attached to her rectus muscle (part of the abdomen). It is a very rare cancer if they are correct that it is, which they are 95% sure. Which also means, not many surgeons have dealt with it. There is a strong possibility of her losing her bladder, depending on the extent of damage the cancer has caused. It is a very scary, and emotionally damaging ordeal. We will either go to Houston for the removal, or more likely, the Cancer Center of America in Oklahoma. I guess our main worry is the possibility of her losing her bladder. She's only 22 years old, with a 4 and a 2 year old, who both have Autism... I don't know why all of hell has fallen upon us, but we still need y'alls prayers. Please continue. Thank you all, God bless...

Update:

Good news! It is no longer what they thought was Urachal Carcinoma! Instead, it is just a mass, or tumor, on her "rectus" muscle (no not the butthole. That's rectum ) which is part of the abdomen. It is nowhere near her bladder. The radiologist saw what did appear to be a tube, with a mass inside. They automatically assumed carcinoma. Upon further review yesterday from an actual cancer specialist, he confirmed itwasn't. And proved it to us by showing us. There is still some possibility of cancer, but the specialist thinks otherwise. Since it is a muscle, they will remove the mass and repair it in the same manner that a hernia is repaired. So, I will update again once we confirm the mass is no more! Thank you all for the prayers and support. Zman thank you for the reassurance that things would work out. They did . Again, thanks guys! God Bless
