Default 3000 miles, 4 days, 1 radiator, and 2 T-stat gasketes

I drove my Dodge from LA to VA Beach two weeks ago with every thing I owned in the bed and cab, including my 94 Ninja ZX6. BTW I also flat towed a 3100 pound 2003 Huyndai Tiburon that was loaded to the gill with more stuff.

The trip started with me driving from LA to Riverside after a stop for smokes I walk out and see a puddle of coolant under my truck coming from
the T-stat housing (I had just replaced the T-stat). After running mili-meters under red in temp for the next two hours, I replace the radiator and gasket in Riverside. Left Riverside and drove into Phoenix for the night. Leaving Phoenix I had to do a 100 mile 7000ft climb, at a blistering speed of 35mph. Luckily the rest of the trip was mostly flat.

All together I think I stopped at least 8 times for gas, not evey time was a full fill up, If I had around half a tank when I had to stop for pee or smokes I filled it. I averaged a little over 300 to a tank.

I drove mostly at night, due to cooler temps, less traffic, and the car I was towing had no legal plates on it.

Yeah I was surprised about the mileage I got considering how much time I spent around 3k rpm and with OD turned off.
