Unless they mix it with Iron or an Iron alloy, it WILL NOT rust, copper turns green. My truck sat less then a mile form the ocean for the last three years and not even battery cables corroded.

never seen copper rust either and I havent had a problem with any of the wires on my truck so I dont think you can blame that one on dodge
