Great looking truck Wh1t3Nukle. How do you like that Thule rack? Been thinking about getting one of those so I can put cross rails and a cargo basket to store my spare and some other gear (hi-lift, shovel) up above my bed out of the way.

Hey SD,

Thanks for the werd. I lurv my rack. Have had it since 2004 (when in living in Littleton), nearly when they came out. It works great for the family. All luggage up in the pod and still have the bed to use for large things like ice chests and such for camping. The pod on the left and right side is used for 2 Super G bike mounts. Discontinued though. I've actually thought about adding a basket like you said. More I think about it....makes alot of helpful sense. But I'd be swapping bike mounts and basket....which may not be so bad.

Think I'd make my own basket though given the price on Thule's

http://www.thule.com/en-US/US/Produc...of-all-baskets

Currently my Hi-Lift is at front of the bed, on the floor. Going to move it to one of the front corners and turn it vertical.

Other best part about the rack is that it can be raised to be a ladder rack. Mounts for canoes and kayaks, etc. Also I've carried a good load of steel on them. I get lots of compliments while driving from other trucks. They like the available positions. However, mine only has 2 positions while the current ones have like 5 or something.

Well wasn't Dodge (compared with Ford & Chevy) like dead last in towing on other recent new models?

Dodge is now advertising their towing ability is better then Ford & Chevy, so I'm thinkin it was an upgrade
