so i had my ball joints replaced today. and wow it drives like a bad new truck... i'm so happy with my truck.. i love it...

just wanted to tell everyone that i'm in love with my truck again..

nope my buddy wholes been owns his own shop did it. took him about 3.5-4 hours...(with lots of smokeing breaks) but i'm glad i didn't try to do it my self he had a hard time doig the bottoms the top ones came out just fine

it costed me 250 for labor so i'm happy

 

I see, thats not terrible i guess. I'll probly do it myself cause im cheap, but i'm sure it will be more than 4hrs, even without smoke breaks! lol

 

I did the driver side myself, cost me just over $100 in parts, and $ZERO in labor. Took all friggin' night though, riveted on style, it was a learning process for sure...

Passenger side will go smoother...

 

Now youre talkin in my price range! lol

 

well if your doing all 4 your looking more at like 200+ cause ball joints range from 35-150 dollars each..

in total with the labor i have over 600 dollars in to my ball joints were 95 dollars each

 

I only did the driver side so far, $50 a joint. Total cost for 4 new ball joints will be just under $220, for what I'm using anyway...

$95 each? What kind did you buy, most be one of those XRF ones huh

Ever heard of the Rare Auto Parts brand of ball joints that sell for over $200 EACH, WTF?
