The OEM parts tend to be REALLY stout in these transmissions, provided they have lube I have a friend who can get me a new rebuilt unit for $900, no core charge, so i will probably do that. Not till January though, I'm savin' my pennies for my visit home around Christmas

 

As a question why are the internals so dry?? I don't know a lot about transmissions but i assume that's why it went out? (Serious question)
