I went with those green pad brake pads and I LOVE them! Barely any dust, quiet, and great braking capability. And the rears, I just went with the higher dollar O'Reilly brand. But I agree on the fluid getting air, and you needed a full fluid swap anyways as brake fluid builds moisture over time, and hinders your brake performance. I always swap my fluid when I swap pads. And my braking is firm and reassuring.

The brake system should be thoroughly flushed/cleaned approximately every 2-3 years or when the fluid gets dark.

I know I'll take some heat for this but I bought DuraLast. They are beefy.

Ok, update ya'll.

Had to take off the driver side tire because the dust shield was scrubbing the rotor (really really annoying BTW). Got that fixed.

Bled the passenger rear first, no air all fluid. Driver rear, all fluid no air.

Went to do the driver front, went to loosen the bleeder, and my pop in law (who was helping) said "What you doin?" "Loosening the bleeder!" "Yeah, so why you loosening the brake line?" "What?, that's not the bleeder?" "No, that's the brake line!" Doh!! He said "the bleeder's under that little rubber tit"

Well, bled both front's a few times, held the pedal down and then opened the bleeder, got plenty of air out that way, from each side.

So I got great brakes now!!!!

Can't believe I was loosening the brake line, but a lesson learned! I'll also add this was the first time I've ever done my own brake bleed
