230,000 miles give or take 1000 (damn speedo is off).

I think the transmission is a replacement. Rear end makes a bit of noise, motor is about to let go at any time.

Properly maintained (read: if they had dealt with the plenum and cat) my motor could have lived longer.

I should have been more clear. Somewhere around the 200,000 mile mark it started to burn oil. It is still his every day driver and we stopped counting on blowing up. my brother and I have the good parts on his truck spoken for if the dumb thing ever quits.

I know nothing of this "Ram Karma" which is good, because I'm mechanically challenged. I couldn't of asked for a better truck so far, then again, I'm really not very hard on it, generally only take it off roading once in the summer on the 4th of July every year I've had it, and During the winter when it snows, at least once a winter.
OK... so whats your mileage?
mines at almost 150,000.... it had 139,000 when I bought it and SINCE then the rearend bearings had to be replaced along with clutchpack for LSD, the transmission died (being rebuilt now with new torque converter and OD unit ), I've replaced the steering shaft and added aftermarket braces to help with slop, track bar and steering stabilizer were shot and needed replacement along with a wheel bearing, thermostat stuck, softplug between tranny and engine developed a leak, brake line needed replacement, electrical random short wore down the battery which had to be replaced, The exhaust developed a hole which has been patched and awaiting replacement....
hmm oh yeah cap and rotor (and a new zip tie to hold cap in place since the PO broke the screw off in the distributor.... the rest was cosmetic work....
But she does run like a champ and doesnt really burn any oil! and the transfer case was replaced along with the tires and rims right before I bought it...
I realize this is probably not the norm but its what I dealt with none the less...
BTW tranny shop told me Chrysler transmissions havent changed much over the years and have always been the most common ones they see in the shop needing rebuild. This of course was just the owners opinion but he said they are terribly unreliable compared to other makes.
