stacks
I've always thought a single turnout (or aussie) looked best, but I'm weird.

Almost considered a single 3" on my truck as I could kinda get away with it with the turbo sound but I'd catch way too much **** for it.

Something else, are you okay with losing bed space? when you run stacks, you can't use that space, and you need to be aware of what can and cannot get hot and keep the stuff away from the stacks that cannot get hot. that can be another issue.
Actually, my father built his own stacks (was a welder by trade) when I was in grade school but his truck was a gasser (a Cheby K2500) & had the old step sides (like the Lil' Red Express and looked damn good, but I think with a gasser you really need the step sides to pull it off...
I only caught a quick glimpse from the side so I dont know the make, but theres a truck with stacks by me and they're on the outside of the bed. And its not a stepside. IMO, it doesnt look good at all.
good, my brother ended up getting rid of his stacks only because he couldn't really use his bed. If you don't use it a ton, then go for it! I like how you told people that you know you are putting the stacks on a gas and you don't want their opinion about that, but they still told you gas trucks shouldn't have them. I think you should, and it will look and sound great!
Im deff going to search for that thread. Im thinking of putting stacks on my truck. I love the way they look. I like the turn outs but not as much curve and length of pipe after the curve. people paint there trucks certain colors because they like the way it looks. why not put something else if you like the way it looks. if it doesnt hinder performance why not. some people deff go over board, but thats with anything... moderation
