Question Looking for some bumper parts and need help

So I ordered my Buckstop rear bumper this afternoon and was informed that I will have to reuse all the hardware and brackets but at the time I thought no big deal. Got done with work and look under my truck to see if anything was rusted and got a surprise that everything was still hanging on it was rusted bad. Needless to say I need new brackets and hardware, LMC trucks is ganna run me $287.45 I know I can find same stuff for cheaper but IDK where to look can anyone help me out?

I've thought bout that but I kinda want to do it right that my right would be buying new or reconditioned and the junk yard might have the same problem I got now. My plan is to line X everything when I get it on so I dont have to worry bout rust for a long long time.

Is everything there pretty much rusted? If it is only surface rust, use Por 15 on it before installing. It converts the rust and stops the process. SHould protect it after that.

Not that Buckstop is a poor choice, but wanted to know why you chose them over others (e.g., road armor, road rhino, etc.). I feel in luvs with Buckstop when Casey on Trucks showed them so looooooooooong ago.

Why would you want to give away your parents? I knd of like having mine around! It would cost too mcuh to ship them as Dad would want to go first class!

I went with buckstop cuz they had the style I was looking for and prices between bumper and shipping for all the others was about equal. The only thing that I'm going to add that they dont have is tow hooks and then get everything Line X'ed. My braces are rusted like I have wholes I can kick the driver side of the bumper and the passenger side will wiggle. If it isn't hard to get to those parts shoot me a PM we can figure something out.

Your in WI, send the buckstop back and buy my bumper. It mounts to the frame using 3/16 steel and is much stouter than the factory brackets. Besides, its way cheaper than buckstop although may not be quite as nice looking.
