Input on purchase of new Gen 2 Ram 1500
To remove TB, just remove the 4 bolts on top of TB? I will need another TB gasket right? I don't have a torque wrench, guess i will be picking up of those tomorrow too...
With the air cleaner gasket not giving it a good seal, should I be concerned with the filth that could of got sucked in the intake?

I don't think you need another gasket, unless its torn. They are cheap though. The 4 bolts holding the TB do have a torque spec, but I'll say they are not critical as their value is not that high. Good a snug. However, you definitely should have a TQ wrench anyways. First good one, I think, is a in-1b up to 100.
Having just read about the carbon build up in the TB, my recommendation is to just clean it all up then with carb cleaner or brake cleaner. You can disconnect the black plate holding the cables, then also all the sensors and 1 vacuum line.
There is a DIY about cleaning the IAC (back sensor) here. This is one sensor to just be careful with. The area the IAC pintle resides usually is all black and a good cleaning is worth it.
It's a good exercise to clean that ****.
No sliding action on this one, just a moonroof... but I like it...
Yes, you remove those 4 bolts. On the passenger side are the cables and if you are careful you can move the TB off to the passenger side to hang there.

Now if it would be warmer than 30F this weekend, and not snowing, I would be able to get it all cleaned up and look into the intake, maybe tomorrow!
