Alright, I went to troubleshoot my passenger fog light that went out at random, (bought them last July, whole OEM kit, came with bulbs) and because I thought I had left them off on the way home, I took the driver side one out to compare bulbs to see if it was the bulb, and because that was in fact not the case, it exploded.

Now I'm in a predicament.

A. Now how do I figure out what was/is wrong with the passenger bulb??

B. Now I need at least one new bulb, but of course I'll get two, because they have to be even.....
C. Do i get HID's? Are they dangerous to other drivers in stock housings? Anybody have any pictures? Or do I just stick with normal bulbs? and which brand/model would ya'll get if I did go that way?

Sorry if this should be in tech....I couldn't decide because I was asking opinions and technical questions.
