Check the air pressure in your tires.

Well I replaced both u-joints on the driveshaft and re-did all the nuts on transfercase with loctite and let it set up good. Checked the tire pressure and put 46psi in them all. Vibration is still there at about 60mph. Will pull tailshaft off tomorrow and check snap ring and go from there

Yea the studs were put in with thread locker before I installed the transfer case. Double and triple checked that they were seated in the full way and not loose when I rechecked them after the first few hundred miles. Checked them again yesterday and today and they are still good.

When I got back a little bit ago I checked the nuts again and they are held tight. Which is why im leaning towards either A) The snap ring on the tailshaft is gone or B) There is an internal problem with the trans.

If its the transmisson ill just have to deal with it. I had 6k in the bank to get all of my mods done that I wanted but I needed to use 5,600 of that to pay for my training classes. So ill just have to start saving again if thats it.

if they start getting loose again maybe you could add a couple extra nuts to keep it from moving.

The only problem with that is the studs arent really long enough to get another nut on there which is why I tried the thread locker one more time and it seems to be working. If they come loose again I was thinking of getting the nylon locking ones but I wasnt to sure on how well they would hold up in that kind of application

If they are tight now and you still have the vibe, you are right. Could be the tranny, or TC lock ring or TC lock ring and now TC is ruined because of the lock ring. Ujoints are all good and the driveshaft is not bent?

Yea i replaced the u-joints this morning due to one that had a little bit of wiggle to it so i replaced both of them just to be safe. Driveshaft doesnt seem to be bent or damaged in any way. Although i was looking around a little bit ago and noticed that there is ATF dripping from the tailhousing. Its not alot but you can tell its dripping. Left about a quarter size mark on the garage floor after about 2 hours of sitting.

I'd take the driveshaft to a local DS shop and have it checked. If for nothing else than to eliminate it as a problem. Bring the front one with you and let them check that one too.
