I think Ive seen someone do this over on pavementsucks, for the top the formed a piece of sheet metal to fill the void, and for a door handle they got an older Toyota interior door handle because of its small size.
Nice job though, now you just need a .50 cal or flame thrower hanging out the bed to take out the dead heads that are gonna be chasing you!

The interior handle is intact, i'm just going to fiberglass the top and inside panel, and the have the fiber glass linexd. And that's a def no go on the flame thrower. all it would do is turn regular zombies into flaming flesh eaters. I'm going to end up building a flat bed that has a spare tire mount on top(spare tires make great gun rests)
What do motorcycle riders do when it rains lol. And yea they still open and close. I didn't cut off the latch or inside handle
Ok i see, so you jus open them up from the inside. I bet thats kinda fun drivin around like that
EDIT: I think the flame thrower would eventually kill them but it takes longer than blowing their heads off. Best weapon against mass zombie attacks is something with a high rate of fire, like full auto, preferably belt fed

The front ones locked up so I have some hooked up to the rear cab mount. I got a lot of work done fiberglassing the top of driverside door. And I got started on the passenger side.
