99 Dodge 318 engine build questions.

If that is all that is wrong, rebuilding may be more expensive than what is needed. Replacing plenum gasket, water pump, cat, and timing set should do it, unless there are other issues in the lower end as well.

Well, that certainly puts a new light on it! Appearantly it had more than a plenum issue!
Hope the rebuild goes well. I will be following it.

As for my engine build
its a 318
after market plenum gasket installed
stock after market heads that are gasket match
.30 over with hyper tech pistons
comp cam part number 20-745-9
shorty headers
2.5 exhuast to 40 searis flow master then 3 inch out
nx wet nitrouse kit for efi 150 shot.

Are you going back with stock rods are are you going to upgrade them?
