Yeah, kinda like the one I posted first-it is actually a Ford advertisement for the '35.
Those ads are great and very collectible. Knew a guy that was the salesman at my old mans parts store back in the day that had tons of them from all makes. We had a lot of them hanging on the walls. What great memories. Anyway, here's a 37 with no mirror. Has to be an option. In any event, that's a Ford in DHV's pics.
meanwhile, back at the house about 1954...
note the missing step on the front porch.
Granddaddy might have been a good farmer, but he wasn't much of a carpenter.
not sure what car this picture was taken from, but I think the little Ford Coupe was gone once the youngun's started.
Cool old pics, be awesome to actually have the car know though.
i'd give up a nut to have it.
i wonder what it would cost to buy one in a uncustomized condition?
or if you could buy a replica kit and build one.
it'd have to have the flathead to be realistic.
we've got a 49 ****** jeep with a flathead 4 cylinder in it. the damn thing still runs and drives.

Passenger mirrors were optional up to roughly the early 70's. You could buy cars without turn signals up to at least the mid 50's. Later for motorcycles.
