Victim of Death Wobble
I think it might be misalignment, because of the hubs and axle work I had done a couple months ago. I lifted the truck on the left side to clean my brakes and the left wheel popped out of alignment when I raised the truckl (or maybe INTO alignment, but it seemed like the weight of the truck was keeping the wheel in a certain spot).
I can't take the truck back to the place that did the work because I just moved from Indiana to West Point NY. But I have a warranty, so I guess I will be giving the truck to some other place to figure out what is wrong.
The track bar does not look bad at all, but the control arm bushings are pretty cracked.
I am thinking that this will be a huge job because they will not fix the right part to begin with. But...it is all on the warranty company.
So far the warranty company has paid for:
1. New Auburn posi
2. New left wheel hub, u-joint and axle
So they have paid 2500 so far for a warranty that cost me 1250.
