Smokes on startup

Default Smokes on startup

I have a 2004 1500 5.7L and lately i've noticed a fairly large plume of smoke coming out the exhaust on startup anyone got any ideas?

what color?
blue smoke could be rings or valve seals. if its heavy blue smoke at start up and at idle, its probably valve seals.

seems to me its more white then blue

5.7L? or 5.9? White smoke indicates moisture. Losing any collant? Any unusual smell to exhaust when smoking?
