hit a group of 5 hogs today running about 60 on a backroad. The frame is bent really bad in 2 places. I will try to keep the truck and find a roller, but its bad.
Ill try to get pics of it when I can get to the truck to get myself from it.
I got a little bit of revenge for you this morning. Shot a small boar behind the house. Maybe brighten your day just a little bit.
If it is not seriously kinked, straightening can be successful depending on where the bend is. Still haven't heard from my friend yet, but getting it from here to there may be a challenge also. Straightening may be much cheaper alternative.
And make sure he check alignment after straightening. If he is a good shop, this is a given.
Will the next truck have driving lights?
This is exactly why I have lights. It's not deer I worry about so much as the hogs. They are larger and heavier and really don't give a **** about vehicles coming towards them.
What wattage? I'm going to NorthernTool this week in all likely hood to get some of their 100 watt driving lights. 5.5 in round lights with a ribbed lens and rock guard. Gonna look SCHWEET.
