Default Well folks its over!

I wrecked my truck a week ago and insurance is going to total it, bent frame and steering was enough let alone the body damage. I am sad but happy too. I have been strugeling with keeping my mpg up to 17 and looking at needing to drop near $700 more into it over the next few months for exhaust and stuff, I will not be looking for another 2nd gen. There are just too many issues with them. I will be getting another truck in the next few years but for now I need an econo box.

I will be selling my CAI and my e fans with the controls email me if interested dnfd737@yahoo.com

If any one wants anything from my truck I am allowed to strip it and will do so on tuesday this week, give me a part and a price and its yours+shipping Be fair though.

Thanks to all for the trouble shooting help over the years
Eric

Sorry for your loss. Glad you are ok and able to proceed down such a path. You might want to post your location for people interested in poking you about parts.

Ditto Stewie -- carnage pics plus the story of what happened.

This isn't a tech topic though and hopefully moved to the discussion area.

I get the point of not buying another, but my 160k truck has cost me a new set of pads, an abs/speed sensor and routine maintenance. I guess I'm very lucky.

Good point I have been bombarded with emails about rearend engine transmission ect.

I am in Suffolk Va the truck is in Chesapeake va I will have 1 day this Tuesday 7-31-12 to get what I can. I do not have a truck so I can not get much from it, pulling my CAI and E-fans along with the rest of my stuff like cd cases ect. I will be glad to pull small parts and send them via ups fed-x usps ect. Large parts just can not be done.
