Kudos on the fab work. If it works for you, then that's all that matters. Just make sure those future D-rings are solid. I've got a similar idea using square tube that i have laying around. Some curvature will be incorporated and I'll be cutting out that useless rocker guard or w/e you call it that is behind the rear wheels.
Thanks whitenuckle, I have admired the fab work you did on your front bumper that thing looks awesome. I have future plans to make something similar but probably without a winch mount.
$400 for a JY rear bumper? Does a stealership own that JY? A new one can be had for that. I sanded my chrome one and painted black because I wanted to get out of paying $300 for a new one....
^^^ I know it is ridiculous pricing isn't it. Unfortunately in the great country of Canada Ontario to be more specific, parts are stupid expensive compared to the u.s. Usually twice the price for some reason. On top of that its like finding the holey Grail to come across a chrome bumper that doesn't have rust holes. Then to find a painted sport bumper is even rarer, so the scrap yard charged accordingly.
