under age 25 is twice the price of someone over 25.
if you have renters or homeowner insurance with the same place, it comes down.
multicar discount, anti-theft in one or more, air bag (passive restraint).
clean driving/claim record.
etc all factors in.

another big variable is the "symbol" of the vehicle. since we all drives rams, its all the same, but my ram is a symbol 16, toyota 4runner is 18 which are very high cost of insurance. wife's explorer is only an 8.

I turned 26 in May.

Kinda surprised that Ram's are so friggin' high up the "symbol" chart.

Holy **** Wolfie. That's nuts. I paid $61 a month for state minimums here in Louisiana, but now that it's being switched back to Washington it will spike to $130 That's with USAA. I have a terrible record though... 2 accidents and a ticket are on it currently.

if you compare it to my old insurance company that is actually pretty good my. my old insurance company was wanting about $3200/year and that was only for the ram charger. new insurance company is only wanting less than $4000 per year for my ram charger and truck.

Just got my renewal in the mail. Been with Progressive since 2003 so that's a pretty good discount; plus house, accident-free, multi car, and home owner discounts. I pay every 6 months so get a discount for that too. Dodge is 254 so 42.33/month. My 95 trans am is $211/6 months. Figure that out lol. Full coverage on both.

My insurance was $136 per month for liability on my truck, when I turned 18 years old, it went down to $109 a month.

That's what I'm paying now. I'm insured through Farm Bureau, with a clean driving record.

That is insane! That is roughly $5,180 per year! You must have been young I take it? I would have sold that **** right away, that's like a small mortgage just for insurance... wow

I was 19 at the time. But I only paid 2 months worth of insurance. I blew the car up within 2 months lol..

the job i had at that time made it pretty easy to pay the insurance. The car was just more of a headache then anything.
