heres a classic one for you...
I hate that for you, bro- but it is FUNNY... to share in your misery:
Once I walked dead into a tree.. I was fishing in the mountains and taking a short cut over to a better stream.. I was adjusting my gear and had my fly rod under one arm, looking down.. I looked up just in time to walk, fairly fast, square into that tree.. I busted my nose and in my anger, tossed a fly rod down the hill into yet another tree, which ended my little excursion...
I've never told a soul that story until just now..
definitely a 'comic moment' too, no?
hope you heal up!!

You'll be fine soon enough I'm sure, But lesson learned about rakes and a shovel for that that matter. Never leave either one lying down or standing up with the claws or shovel concave facing up.
