Default swapping coil springs

I'm planning on putting 33s on my 99 1500, and im sure ill need a couple inches of lift. i know i can just swap out the stock coil springs with either 2500 or 3500 springs, but which ones about I use to get the lift I'll need? I'm assuming 2 inches should b enough. But I'm not sure. Also, by doing that, is there anything else ill need to, like with the steering, or with the pcm so my speedometer n odometer are accurate?

I think coil springs for the 2500 and 3500 are the same height. Grab either one, just make sure if your truck is 4x4 or 4x2 you get the springs from a matching truck

I think there are some 3500 ones that wont but im not sure. 2500 do fit for sure and should get you about 1.5" of lift, maybe two if you buy some new shocks too. I have a 2500 2wd and it cleared 33"s with no lift on factory 16"s. Now I added 2" in the front and 1" in the rear and the tires look to small... lol.

all 4x4 front springs regardless of model are all swap-able.

diesel coils, or v10 coils(same part number for both) will net you the most lift.

i have diesel coils, and the swapped right in. took me less than an hour.
