"small amount of rust" LOL ''

And look at the passenger side tire, looks like some major negative camber to go along with the bumper damage.

I sure don't miss living in the Rust Belt. Down here, that thing would be considered a pile that I'd haul across the scales for scrap.

I'd like to get that bumper and the tow hooks.

What's really any better about the axles? I wouldn't bother with them, go straight for some 60's or a 60/70 set.

I wouldn't scrap it... I would part it out, then scrap it

it looks ok for the price.... however, i dont think its even worth the price. its being off loaded, or loaded onto a trailer in those pics. you can see the chain from the winch under the rear axle on one of the pics.

looking aorund for a 2nd gen for my buddy, whos coming home ina couple weeks from being honorably discharged from the army.

Off-roads have 4.10 gears there pretty great, and yes I know so do some 2500s.

Gears can be changed. I'd rather have stock open 3.55's in my 60's than LSD 4.10's in 44/9.25's. Wouldn't you?

2x1972

I thought off-roads were open diff for some reason. If they have the trac-lok LSD like my truck did I wouldn't want anything to do with them anyway.

I called the dealer once looking for a extra crush sleeve when I did my rear-end rebuild. Long story short we know each other fairly well and he had the vin for my tuck to look up parts. We started talking about the axle re-build and without me even saying it was the trac-loc limited slip that fell apart and wrecked everything in the pod. He looked at my build sheet and says "oh you had the limited slip that why you had to rebuild everything.

Sorry for the hijack but if the off-road has limited slip I would much rather have the d60s under my truck. for that matter I stay Away from 9.25 with track-lok now that I learned my lesson, I went truetrac and never looked back.

Eh, I'd rather have my Texas, rust-free non-Off Road Ram than that rust bucket. :3

I can lift and put better gears in it.
