A buddy of mine was talking to me about this plasti-dip stuff. Told me to give this stuff a shot when I go to re-paint the truck.
Anyone got any words about how this stuff holds up on the body? Does it come in clear? I've seen videos on YouTube of people spraying it, but it's all been in a flat colour.
I got a lot of body work to do. A couple hundred bucks vs a couple thousand, sure could replace a lot of panels with the money I'd save. lol

Probably pretty expensive to do whole truck. There is a thread or two about bedliner on whole truck here somewhere.

Eh, I wouldn't do it. It's not substantial enough to do the entire truck.

I wouldn't plasti dip a truck but using bed liner is a different story. Linex would be your best shot but I think it would come out to about the same price as a regular paint job.

I could paint my truck with bedliner and probably do it for under 500... I only got about 80 in all of what I have done now.. 3 coats done in the bed.. and 3 coats on both sides of the truck..

Bed liner? Really? Doesn't that come out textured and flat?

Oh, on the rockers, yeah. I have to redo my lower door skins, I plan to gravel guard ( or bed liner) my rockers. I have too much body work to do, once done I'll need to re-spray the whole truck. At least now I know to just buy paint and not this plasti-dip for that. Although, the bumpers do need a good touch up.
