^+1. Thrush 17715 Turbo.
27 bucks and great sound! I actually got a little bit of performance out of it too. Guess my old muffler was clogged?

Actually, the Thrush turbo is a decent sounding muffler. Nice rumble at idle, loud when you get on it, but not very loud when cruising. My brother has one on his Ford with a 302 sounds pretty good. And again they are cheap.

I've gotten lucky. My Flowmaster S44 has lasted me three years and hasn't rotted out....yet.

Ive had a Flowmaster 44 for about 2 years now and its starting to go. Within the next year Im gonna have to replace it. I wont be buying Flowmasters anymore. Probably do the Thrush turbo with a new cat when the time comes.

Mine does too. Around 2200rpm itll give you a headache. The wife hates it. I liked it at first, but now it just gets on my nerves. I guess old age is catching up.

haha...same here. At first I loved the sound of my fm 40, but after about a week of driving back and forth to work around town with the family, I was like d@mn. I would turn OD off just to get the RPM's up out of the "drone band" so I could have a conversation with my wife. Young guys like that, but to me it was just plain obnoxious.

My Z has a flowmaster on it (bought it that way). As soon as I can afford it, it's coming off too.
