I forgot to say earlier that it'll also take a rail car load of steering gear boxes, about half that in ball joints, twice that in track bars... the list goes on, but I won't. Some things a guy's just got to learn the hard way.
Convert to a 1400 cfm Holley double pumper carburator, hang a parachute off the back of the truck, and drive around with the parking brake on. That should help fuel economy.
