Default Entrepreneurial Idea

So the other day I saw on some durango forum a guy porting and polishing throttle bodies and selling them on the forum. This inspired me to try and start making and selling exhaust systems similar to mine if there was any interest. If you dont know what my exhaust is like, its a real simple system with a glasspack and 45'ed out the side before the rear tire. I would use mandrel bends and have it all welded and include hangars and a tip. Anyone think they would be interested or have any ideas for improvement of this idea?

I feel like people have sold custom exhaust setups before, but I guess you might be the first with the idea...

Would you offer different muffler types other than a glass pack, me personally, I like the low rumble of a flowmaster. You could broaden your target, by offering maybe 3 choices of mufflers.

I could use pretty much whatever muffler they wanted, thats no problem. Another thing I thought of would be selling a complete system with shorty headers, felpro gaskets, stage 8 bolts, a jegs y-pipe (even throw in the spark plug non-fouler trick), and the muffler of your choice for the ultimate setup.

You might run into a problem legally with the non fouler trick.

+1... I've pretty much stopped selling anything on DF that's fairly large and just post the bigger stuff on craigs.

I hear ya on that. Those replies get deleted. I've met 3 or 4 people with rams from craigs and and they are great guys. Done a lot of work on a couple of their trucks. No scamming. lol
