Default Remove Dash by winshield?

I have removed glovebox and all screws I can see with the ones by the winshield but still it wont pull up. something is holding it by the winshield and it looks like there's nothing to unscrew. two of them busted while i tried to pull it up. Now if I cap it, it will rattle so I need to replace the dash?

Yup, you busted it. There are a bunch of screws underneath. You need to drop the steering wheel, remove the left and right kick panels, loosen the 2 bolts behind them and the dash will pivot forward. There are screws under everywhere. Most people would remove the whole dash, but I've done it 3 times just pivoting it. PITA but is possible.

Thank you very much, What about the airbag cover? I never thought that far ahead. I'm swaping my entire interior now for the black with leather seats. I have a donor truck.

The air bag cover will come out as a unit as part of the air bag . After you get the whole unit out, you will see how the cover can be separated from the air bag box.

With glovebox removed, I think there are a couple screws that hold the airbag unit in place. Disconnect battery and airbag control and let set for a while first!

Check the service manual in the FAQ/DIY section. (I severly dislike working around airbags...never had a problem....but you never know!)
