My first car in high school, 1969 Dodge Charger. Bought it for $300, sold it for $350.
Coincidentally, the kid who grew up two doors down from me bought a '69 Charger for $300 in, oh, '77 or so, and sold it for $350 a couple or three months later. The little sixer was all but dead when he got it, and when the clutch went he sold it to a guy who said he was only interested in sheet metal and glass... But who seemed to me the sort who was interested only in the VIN tag.

Wow, seriously? Thats about when I bought mine...but it had a 383 in it.
The kid down the street dreamed of dropping a 383 into his, but he didn't factor in that projects like that require first getting a job.

I can relate. Mine was a '68 Coronet that I wish I still had, and for the last several years when I ask my wife what sort of a car she wants next her answer is always, "A '68 Coronet". I might just have to give in on that one day, and spend the rest of my life haunting junk yards and spending my summers driving around the desert hoping to spot one hiding under a tarp out in the middle of nowhere.
I'd think about selling my 01 with a brand new tranny (<2k miles) and a brand new motor for that much. I paid $4500 for mine with a new tranny and a 7.5' plow last year and did a motor swap over the summer.
this thing has worked its way up to $21,600 with 3 days left on the auction. what the heck is wrong with people? i know it is a nice Cummins diesel but come one. that is getting ridiculously
I think the truck also comes with that peacock you see in the pics at the very end. Those are worth some big bucks on the black market for that new peacock fighting craze going on. Or so I hear...
But seriously, it's regular cab, an auto trans, and it needs new tires. If it had like 500 miles on it or a ton of aftermarket things like lift and tires and 500hp or something I could see it going for that much.

The truck is beautiful, don't get me wrong. But for $21k on a 20yr old truck I better be able to eat off the frame, axles, and darn near anything else I wanna eat off of, ballz, whoever buys that, better get a bottle of lube to go with it.
