Hi,
I have a 2001 Dodge Ram Sport. My headlights work fine as far as bright and dim goes, but the indicator light in the dash always shows bright. As a result I never know when I'm driving if I'm on bright or dim.

So I always have to just start off somewhere that I can see my lights clearly on something to see if they are bright or dim, and then I just leave them on dim while I'm driving so I don't bright-light anyone by mistake.

Anyone have any idea what would cause this? Would this be a bad dimmer switch?

are they stock lights or after market? cause i got new headlights and had the same problem so i just disconected my brights and it went off

 

if you bought 9007s for it by accident instead of 9004s itll cause your lights to work right but your brights light will be stuck on i did it once lol check the bulb there will be a number on the side
