Damn thing was already sold. The dealership is trying to figure out why it's still listed on the Internet. 2006/2007 seems to be good years for those trucks, so I'll expand my search to those.

Been doing a lot of thinking and searching. I'll probably get the Dodge buttoned up this year and then search for a full size 4x4. If I find something I like then I'll most likely sell the Dodge. I always swore I'd keep it, but sometimes it's best to let go and move on.

It's enough of a step for me to consider getting a 4WD. I could never justify the expense of one. My brother recommended I get a diesel, but I don't think I'd work it enough to warrant owning one.

If not a diesel, at least get a Hemi. Tritons are junk, and the 5.3 Vortec is way underpowered.

I hate to say it, but out of all the fullsize 1/2 ton pickups, after a Ram with a Hemi, a Nissan Titan would be my second choice.

Don't you have a new tractor to pull around? Tractor gives cause for a nice trailer!

you don't gotta work a diesel to death to justify owning one...better fuel economy and less maintenance alone is enough reason to own one

get an older one like wombat did...or an early 2nd gen...or late second gen like mine..all great motors.

with 3.55 gears you can pull 24mpg average out of them...

add an exhaust brake on them and your service brakes will last damn near 100k miles before changing them...especially with a manual transmission..

Buying a Diesel.. You wanna pull your tractor.. Then you need a new trailer.. Get tired of said trailer and want a bigger trailer.. Then you need something bigger to haul.. Then you want MORE POWA!! It is an endless cycle... More money.. Is it worth it? OF course it is.. Who doesnt like spending money?
