Now that i've installed my dual exhaust its slowly becoming apparent that i need some mudflaps. Starting to get small nicks on my chrome tips and with winter approaching id like to keep all the dirt/sand/salt off the body and exhaust as much as i can. I need some sort of "kickback" style flap as i can see regular ones interfering when turning on the front. preferrably looking for a thick rubber style that will cover 12.5" wide tires. was thinking of fabbing up some metal brackets that mount in the fender that kick back then just hang some rubber off them.
I don't have any...yet. I'll be getting some truck size rubberz and fabbing own brackets. They will be removable with lock pins that can be secured with small padlock. 1x1 square tube to a receiver welded to the frame. That's what is in my head at least....

i was thinking about this, sorta like this style i guess:

those are the cat's ***! exactly what i'm looking for...however i can't find that kickback style on duraflap's site, only straight hanging ones?
Just select their Lifted Truck button on the left.
Then follow to the install directions at the top of the page.
Ah I missed that, kept looking under Dodge. I think I'll grab some 1/16" plate at the metal shop and fab up four of these then grab a couple big rig mud flaps and cut them up, mount em up with a few bolts. Can't seem to justify spending $300+ on just flaps.
