2004 UA Green Ram
Junk yard or Craigslist will have some Dana axles, my have to broaden your search to find a good deal.
Yeah the front Dana 60 is nearly a direct bolt up, you're gonna want to get one steering parts as well. There's a how to/build thread on pavementsucks website. And a lot of info on there for swapping the 9 1/4 rear axle for a D60/70. Your gonna need to get wider spring perches and driveshaft and a few other little things.

^^ What he said. But the axles from a 2500 will do the job. I'm not exactly sure how they handled the dually spacing with these trucks, but with a 2500 set you just won't have to deal with it.

Plenty of fullsizes run larger axles and still break and not on anything of significant challenge. There's so much more to it then just "larger = better". I've seen some silly breaks that make long hours on trail repair.
I think the tire size on the green truck is no more than a 35 or 36 based on what I think the lift is.
So has it been the same kind of action breaking the axle ujoint? For example, hard driver and in reverse? Just curious. Also if you used OEM ujoint or chipped in for a bit better one. Seems like you could share some good data on this aspect. One thing for sure is that you're confident in where your fuse is.
Ok Mr. Tcase sploder x2.

Ok, so then like a 7" long arm kit then? Does the truck have a body lift?
Ive not broke a joint yet, I've just wore the out. Ive been using the precision joints from oreillys cause I have a lifetime warranty on them. This time I bought the newer spicer 760's since they're supposedly stronger. Well see.
I don't know if you caught my post explaining what happened, but it was bad vibrations in the front driveline that killed the bugger.
Did you put a bigger shaft in then?
Hey, buck up young one. Soon enough mine will unleash and we'll both still be LOLing on these tcase.
