Check engine light came on
Got my code checker out and had 3 codes, P0202, P0300, and P0302. Basically all to do with injector #2. Cleared codes and looked around. Went to wire that claimed open on injector #2 and pushed on top of the wire and heard a click and snap like something went back in place. Thought cool that fixed that
Decided to check all the wires for being loose. Got to the driver side on front that should be number 1 injector and see first picture. One and three look reversed, only injector wire 3 and 5 even have a label, but I also considered the position wires came from wiring harness. Decided 1 and 3 were reversed. Now I bought this Oct 2 and have put about 600 miles and it runs fine, little worried about shifting, but no missing and smooth running.
Decided to switch these two wires, I thought just that small clip with 4 wires is what came out, got it (the clips loose) but the four wires stayed in the harness on top of injector, clip moved up, but wires stayed in, red lights went on in my brain and I decided this doesn't look right and pushed clip back on. Not sure why there is a clip there, but didn't want to pull anymore. Then I just grabbed and pulled the larger part and it came right off injector. Then I switch around.
Still seems to run fine, no difference, all I tried is idle, still smooth, wonder why it ran so good before? Guess I will go over to granddaughters and get my ladder back and see how runs, can't figure why it ran so well if it's been wrong all this time?
