Favorite generation ram

Second generation, of course. What a silly question.
Why? Start with one that's not been futzed with or terribly neglected, and by correcting engineering deficiencies, restoring what's worn out, and adding on some nice accessories you can have a pretty darn nice truck for about $20k.
The later generations are fugly no matter how much you invest in them. And just how dumb does a guy have to be to think that aluminum cylinder heads are suitable for truck service, anyway? Dammit, Chrysler, enough with the H1-B visas already!
