Default Please allow me to introduce myself. 96Indyram

As you can tell by my name I have a 1996 Indy pace truck.
I was the first and 3rd owner of this truck. Yes I got stupid and traded it off...(1999)but I seen it on a car lot about 2 years (2001)later and bought it back.
LOL I still had the extra keys for the locking gas cap and trailor hitch at home in a drawer.
I did own 2 of these trucks at one time, but a coworker talked me out of one of them,( more than I paid for it) and he still has it.
This truck is collecting dust in the garage for the last 5 years. i do drive it around about every 4 to 6 months.
I am going to start tinkering on this truck soon.
I also reconise a few on here from Indyram.org. I was a member there back when it started, and never joined another truck forum when it went away...but I notice all the member list and pictures are still there.
I will post pictures if need be. (There is a small pic below from 1998 Christmas parade us Indy and SS/T owners did...and yes..a Viper)
Indy.

Welcome to DF! The only forum where the members spend your money faster than you can!

I don't think your link for your picture is working. You have to use image tags or upload them to a place like photobucket (I use tinypic.com, a accountless version of PB).

If you hang around, I think you'll like it here.

I don't know what the rules are in that regard, never had a sig pic until later. lol

Imageshack should work, just make sure they're in [IMG] tags and it will post the picture directly onto the page.

Welcome to the forum. As a moderator, I will tell you I have no idea how many posts you need in order to display pictures....

Try what Dodge Dude suggested....imageshack, photobucket...etc

Just remember to read a few of the stickies regarding posting rules and stuff. Some around here are real picky about that stuff...

The truck looks beautiful! Minus the bed rails... what's up with that? Have you/do you plan to build the motor?

Sweet looking SST! I also like the charger too. I have been looking at the chargers lately for the hell of it. Nice vehicles.

The bed rails were put on at the dealer new, they were on there before I bought the truck. I kinda like them. The motor is all stock, only thing that has been changed is oil, plugs, wires, dizzy cap. battery and oil pump.
everything else came off the assembly line.
Yes I think I want to build a 408 for it. The rearmain seal is leaking now a little, and the front seal on the tranny is leaking also a tad. Never had a tranny problem either, i just adjusted the bands every 30k miles.
But I think it is time to have fun with the truck.

Thanks! but it is not a SST...its a Indy pace truck. Its the reason the SST's were built. Yes the chargers are great cars...PITA to change the thermostat on them. We ordered it Sepetember it in 2005, and got it in October 2005 for my wifes Bday. Then every year for her Bday I would do something to the car...and that is how it looks now. It only has 21k miles on it....wife dont drive much.
