i have a 1998 ram 1500 4wd v8 pretty much stock and i wanna make the truck so it is a good mudding truck what should i customize?? without killing the wallet??

 

you should sell it and use the money towards buying a mud truck that is already set up.

dodges are not so good in the mud. eats the front hub assemblies alive.

 

Swap in a hp Dana 60 kingpin front axle from a 78-79 ford truck to get rid of the unit hubs on your truck.

But seriously, what kind of "mud truck" are u looking for? 17" lift on 44s or 3" body lift and some aggressive all terrains?

 

Dodges are great in the mud, you will get good at swapping hubs though. Only takes me about 15 minutes a wheel on mine lol. I 2nd the king pin axle in front and put a Dana 70 out back.
