Edited for the feeble minds that can't put together a simple mistake. My point was that it's not uncommon for used upper and lower (two big castings...) aftermarket EFI intakes for a 5.0 to be had for $200 at a swap meet.

And don't flatter yourself Wombat, we've only ever communicated once before.

@dlyter - havn't seen you around much...Been out and about claiming more tow mirrors with the old mans hemi? Come give mine a shot...

fords are different than dodge trucks. there is only a couple aftermarket intakes for these trucks which is why they are so expensive.they only use the magnum engines for less then 10 years before they replaced them with something different. i know i could get a aftermarket intake for my 81 for $200 brand new but the intake would bolt on to pretty much any small block dodge made between 1964 and 1991

Your post did not make sense. It was a mistake. OK. But don't get testy when someone reads it and states that it doe not make sense. Don;t take yourself so seriously. Correct it as you did, and laugh it off.

Life is too short for drama.

Yes it's a M1, Yes it's for magnum motors, NO it's not the same intake as what was on flebay. No you don't want to use this intake on a truck motor, it will be a dog.

Just to big, mid-high rpm intake, wrong style of intake for a truck motor 2600 rpm is where it starts to work. If I remember right RmIndy tried one and did not like the end results and that was a super charged 2wd street/drag truck.
