Default Brush Guard Install Issues

Haivng issues mounting the mounting bracket to the frame. I've emailed the supplier but I wanna see what you guys think, here's a pic of the mounting bracket and what I've got in the area it's supposed to go.

On the picture with "No hole" on it, even if I drill a hole the mount won't be flush against the frame because of the weld bead.

What ya'll think?

Get the grinder and the drill out and make it fit.

Either you're installing it incorrectly or they sent the wrong part.

I don't know how else to install it. Mount only fit on the bottom of the brush guard one way...

I will say the instructions they give are pretty crappy:

It's close to a bolt in part but just not lol. As posted get the drill out and the grinder get to work making it fit. Bevel grind the back part of the bracket so it fits better over the weld or just cut some of it off, drill a new hole and go hard. Not all parts are a perfect fit work is needed to make them fit.

MAN UP, DUDE! (but use a GFCI when using that drill and the grinder-if it is electric!)
