Hi i just got my 2001 ram 1500 standard cab. It needs a few things and the junk yard by me has a few that i can pick from but they are not the same year. Can n e one tell me what i can salvage from them? The trucks in the yard range from 95-99.

I need a windshield tail light. Head light . Mostly small body parts.

Are they generally all compatible parts? Please and thanks for the help.

 

Windhshield, headlight, and tail light should be compatible over the years.

Headlights from the Sport Model trucks are compatible but require some work to work in the non sport model trucks.

 

98 and 99s would be your best bet if you're not completely sure.

 

Yes, just be careful if you go looking for doors. Regular cab doors and quad cab doors are different. And the headlight, grill, and bumper from sport and non-sport models.
