Default What is this?

Now I know the obvious is that it's a CAI with 2 tubes/filters, but what are its advantages/disadvantages?

Actually looks like a step backwards from the stock setup. OEM draws outside air in, that device is drawing underhood air.

"What is this?" It's a bad thread title for the tech section and in the tech section to begin with.

Looks "technical" to me. At any rate, thanks for the actual on-topic replies.

That was related to the title of your thread, which has no technical implications at all. By not providing a thread title that is relevant, the effectiveness of the search function is compromised, and no one will ever read it if they have a similar question.

The dual inlet intake is as mentioned, looks only. Even with 2 of the 4" tubes coming in, it still cuts down to one 4" inlet, so more air is NOT going to be pulled through - unless one filter is clogged. It is kind of like some fancy fishing lures - more effective at catching gullible fishermen than fish!
