I originally wantd this truck to put the 6spd manual into my '93, and it also has a disc braked dana 80 rear end, so in no way would parting it out be giving up. It would just be a different route. I have not decided yet what I am going to do for sure, but I am keeping my eyes open for a deal on a vp44. I am not gonna pay retail on one though, and I will probably not buy one real soon unless a crazy good deal shows up.
