I just bought my first truck, a 97 dodge ram 1500 4x4. I want to upgrade it but im not really sure what to do first. Im going to get a toolbox for it and install a new stereo but other than that im not sure what to do. I am on a fairly low budget as I am a student, I was thinking about putting a 2" levelling kit on. Anyone have any thoughts, advice or ideas?

 

You should read the Plenum Sticky at the top of the Tech Section. I'm not saying that yours is bad, but you needs to check.

There are **** tons of leveling kits for 4wd Rams, Hell Bent Steel makes good stuff.

Before spending all your money buying aftermarket parts for it go over it really good and see if anything important needs replacing first
